Outreach Activities

From in-person pop-up events across all three NYMTC sub-regions, to virtual focus groups and online topical forums, the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) has engaged the public on critical transportation issues, priorities, needs, and opportunities. Subject areas included freight, active transportation, human services, micromobility, alternative energy, curb and parking management, and transportation technology.

What is Moving Forward 2055?

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC), in collaboration with stakeholders and members of the public, is working to develop Moving Forward 2055, the next Regional Transportation Plan for New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley.
